Community Service Projects
The Twisted Threads quilters generally choose a different community service project each year. In the past, we have made Bags-on-the-Bus for the school district, feminine protection for villages in Africa, made Little Dresses for Africa, quilts for the foster care system through the Medford Fire Dept., bedding for Sleep In Heavenly Peace, Quilts of Valor for veterans, and baby blankets for Abiding Care Pregnancy Resource Center. We also create decorative wall hangings for 5 local nursing homes which are changed monthly. Individually, we make quilts where quilts are needed and the list is long.
